OK, this is just embarrassing. If you can’t memorize your own poem, or the Guardian won’t spring for a teleprompter, how about just don’t participate..?

The constant movement of Sampson’s eyes is distracting, to say the least. That she’s positioned at a angle does not help her delivery.
I’ve found these posts interesting for many reasons, not the least being how a some of these often very accomplished poets have failed to learn how to present themselves on new media.
